Vision

Sometimes I sense myself ignoring Him while I write, create, or read, only to find that I’ve wasted hours upon unsatisfying hours of my time. When I write on my blog, suddenly I feel vulnerable and exposed, and once again the veil of distractions is lifted from my face and I feel His presence in the room.

Therefore, I’m led to believe that this blog has been one of the most successful outlets through which I have pursued my life’s purpose: To bring God glory (Revelation 5:13) by

  1. Receiving His love (1 John 4:19),
  2. Loving Him back (Mark 12:30), and
  3. Loving others by pointing them to Him (Luke 10:27). Because the best thing I could ever give to anyone, including myself, is Him.

I have not attained my goal yet, and every new day is another resource given to me for free that I can steward by continuing to sharpen and hone my ability to love more effectively. Which is why I’d like to expand the use of my blog.

I don’t quite know what steps I’m going to take yet, but there are a few He’s laid on my heart.
