Between two worlds,
I am with you in both,
In Spirit and in truth.

Tell them,
I am the Guardian of the branchers.

Do you even know I am here?
In what portion of me do you indulge?
In what cup of mine do you partake?

I am the King of the hackers.

How long until you depart?
How will it feel when the wind blows on your keen eyes?
Where is your treasure?

I am the Keeper of the eyries.

Listen!
If you just want relief
As you cope with your vices,
Carry on.

But if you’re longing for the clifftop
Where the dragons roost—
Bating even still—
I will journey with you.

You will look at the generations
As you look into a mirror.
This prophecy, sad— hopeful—
You will remain in wait—
You’ll keep your lips sealed,
Your mind doubled over.

These caverns are cold
And you know them not.
Your desire is to be known by Me,
So you shall sing to Me, and Me alone—
Together—
And I will hear.

With your head in the clouds you will float
But when the ground hits your feet—
You will trip.
In the harsh brightness of day you will panic,
And the brilliance of false hopes will forsake you.

Only as you venture into the night
Will you be at peace,
And when you leave safety behind
There you will be a rescuer from death.

The world speaks up and up
As your history repeats itself.
But fly to me, where the world is quiet,
And in the darkness you will hear my voice.

Then you shall tilt your head back with the wonder,
And we will dance and dance,
Your eyes as doves
