Vlog?
Speaking of posting a video. I’ve been considering posting a vlog. A dear brother who’s currently in Japan has been inspiring me to take this next step, because there’s just something more person about seeing someone’s face, even if the face you’re actually seeing is just, you know, a two-dimensional rendering of light and sound through complex electrical and chemical processes which, of course, arose by natural selection and pure chance.
Plus, making a vlog can actually be faster than writing, as well as more intriguing for those of us who freak out when they see any sizable chunk of text.
I’m not sure about this one. It probably won’t happen for a while if it does. But if and when it happens, I might start interviewing some people I like and making those interviews available. (Which is much less painstaking than hacking out seven interview transcriptions, each amounting to over 10 single-spaced pages, thank you very much.) I’ll just have to pray that my perfectionism doesn’t get in the way, and that I can teach myself enough about videos that I can create the effect I’m aiming for.
