Wow. It’s weird typing a blog post on my phone, guys.

I’m tired, but I just wanted to say that I had a blast today. I led worship with Tiggs and Desiree, and our intro was Praise Adonai. Old school hard rock worship song.

Then, instead of going to first service, I talked to Tiggs and this guy Kyle who has been around Rooted (our young adult ministry) for a while, but I never really got to know him until today. We prayed for his rockstar coworker to get saved. (The kingdom could always use more rock stars.)

Jason scheduled me to lead the young adult group for second service to talk a little about my internship. We usually have about 7 people, but this time we had 20. We almost couldn’t fit everyone in the room.

I didn’t give myself much time to prepare, but Kelly said I got my point across and told me that she could listen to me talk for hours. That is one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. Kelsey challenged me with some tough questions, which I appreciated. And Trenton helped me when I was in a rut by providing an appropriate biblical illustration. I got to see Joel and Chloe briefly, which was good because I don’t get to see them often and they are my favorite.

After group, we ate at Which Wich, and then I went for a beautiful bike ride on all these awkward, unfinished trails near my house, trails which I never knew existed, and that made me want to be a mountain biker.

Then Jonathan, Kyle, and our new friend Kellie and I went to a local pizza parlor and then went bowling. It was an honor that Kellie was willing to hang out with a bunch of awkward Christians.

And now I’m just tired. And thankful for the day. I love how God fits us into our niches sometimes, and in those times our work becomes our play.

Whatever is going on in your life, make it an adventure. You have heard it said that “Love is a choice.” Well, at least Kyle has. He learned it from his mom. But adventure is a choice, too. Find meaning in everything. Anything. Except the looks you think people give you. Those are heavily influenced by the look you’re secretly giving yourself.

Remember that your life is significant, and a significant calling has been set before you: to love those souls around you that will last forever. How exciting. You’ll have your dream job.in Heaven. And everyone will be a kid again.

But probably nobody will be a 2-year-old.

Well, here goes. Let’s see if it posts…
