Hey guys, I like music. I also like sharing it. And chewing on it with my mind. So I’m gonna try this new thing where I post a song for you every Saturday night.

It’s just not the same when I’m the only one listening. It’s like trying to watch a comedy by yourself. You don’t want to be that weird kid just laughing by himself in front of his TV, so you don’t laugh. But then it’s just not that funny.

Or when you read some incredible but obscure centuries-old book. And you’re the only one who can relish in its glory, no matter how much you try to express how it experienced it. *sigh*

So anyway. Here’s the first one. All Delighted People, raise your hands, because you’re the first band ever to be feature on DOP’s Saturday Night Jams.

For info and merch, visit their Tumblr. For lyrics and chord charts, see their Digital Booklet. If you want to use their songs for a worship set, DO. IT. (But take proper legal measures, of course.) Oh, and download their whole album for free here via NoiseTrade.

A Song for Revival – All Delighted People

Here I lay before your feet
I need the source my spirit seeks
In your kindness and with all grace
Turn to me and show your face

Make your desires mine
Break my nature’s power and might
Keep my eyes open wide

In your pain, I feel my sin
Let my stubborn self be killed within
Take my worries, my soul is free
Blood stained sin left on a tree

Let me die in you so that you may live in me
You are my paradise and you are my retreat,
In you I can only be
You’re the bright and morning sun
You’re the only light I see, take this all from me,
I can’t do it

Make your desires mine
Break my nature’s power and might
Keep my eyes open wide
